This is an earlier bag I believe from the early 90's because its brass hardware is not stamped with the Filson logo. Filson began stamping its name on its brass hardware as part of a modernization and brand expansion effort that occurred from the 1990s onward. In the company's early history, and throughout most of the 20th century, hardware did not feature the stamped logo.
