made by an Oglala Lakota artisan from the Pine Ridge Reservation
dated to the mid 70s
traditional beaded design in light blue and raspberry pink

These earrings were given to me, when I worked at the Pine Ridge Reservation in the mid 1970s. The Lakota artisan had just made them, although I don't remember his name.
According to dreamcatcher legend, the good dreams pass through the center hole to the sleeping person. The bad dreams are trapped in the web where they perish ...
Condition: Overall the earrings are in good condition. I also replaced the ear wires--so new.
