Vintage Spanish Toledoware brooch in the shape of a majestic galleon ship. The design features ornate gold tone damascene-style scrollwork on a dark background, accented with hand-applied red and silver enamel details for a touch of color.
It measures approximately 1 1/2" long x 1 1/2" wide.
The brooch is stamped SPAIN on the reverse and fastens with a secure rollover clasp.
Likely produced as a mid-century souvenir from Toledo, Spain, during the 1950s–1970s, when Toledoware jewelry was especially popular.
